Afterwards....

This morning was my chance to get the housework done before my two days of depleting for Saturdays comp... I have noticed that I am doing weird cleaning things while I am doing this comp preparation...

Suddenly last week while I could hardly lift my arms I had the need to have a tidy linen cupboard, which I did...

This morning while I was totally starving and about to vaccy and mop I suddenly just had to pull everything out of the kitchen cupboards and clean them then rearrange everything.. WTF???
Anyway now I have an extra tidy kitchen, well about as good as tidy as it can be as it is the original kitchen in the 45 year old house and is falling apart, so although the cupboards still have bits of particle board falling through them they are "clean"
Then just when I finished steam mopping the whole house Tank decided he just HAD to be inside and pushed past me then slid his way right through the house with big dufus Dobermann feet!!! The more I yelled the more he skidded.... sigh! So I got him back out of the house, sat down and had a cry, got back up and remopped the floors...

Do you ever get the feeling that you must have been a terrible person in a previous life and you are still being punished for it??? LOL

Anyway the housework is now out of my way!!! I practiced my routine for a while and I am sooooooooooo looking forward to doing it on stage... Yay!

I will admit to finding these last two weeks incredibly hard to get through, I don't know whether it is because I was already depleted from the last comp or its just that it is my birthday week.

As weird as it may sound I never feel good the last couple of weeks leading up to my birthday, it is like my body decides that MY year is coming to and end and the whole years worth of energy is all gone....
Oh well only 3 more sleeps till the big comp (Still looking forward to it! Yay!) and then I can get on with "Afterwards", we have Wintersun the next weekend... and although it is a Hotrod and Rock & Roll event will be definitely riding the bikes down as the traffic is too heavy for the Chev, she doesn't like the stop/starts , and we can zip through the congestion on the bikes so much easier... and of course I won't be trying to carry 8 containers of food and 6 litres of water with me for a change...LOL

Then the weekend after that I have a family BBQ down the road at the beach so we can celebrate my parents 61st wedding anniversary and my belated birthday...

Well we are off to see Kelli now so she can make sure that I am on target for Saturday... oh I and get to eat now too... wooooohoooo
