Registration day...

So the measurements came in perfect yesterday... 59.5kg with 32mm skinfolds while I was still water loaded... yay!

Started dropping water today and already I have more man veins YAY!

Just found out that the Bribie Island RSL where I work have given me sponsorship to help me with this competition.. thank you!!!

Didn't do the 4am thing this morning but was at the gym at 6am and trained Shoulders and Abs, half way through I started getting the sparkly rings around my eyes that usually precede a migraine... which I thankfully haven't had in years!!! So I'm lying on the bench doing leg raises and have no idea what is happening around me as I just can't see..

Hubby wasn't there (blood tests this morning to try and find this mystery tiredness thing) so I couldn't just go home cause I was walking home and I couldn't see to walk...

So I did what any insane, 2 days out from a competition figure woman would do, I finished doing Abs (the rope pull down machine was right next to the bench I was using anyway!) and then staggered down the little walkway and I got on the treadmill cause really you don't have to see where you are going when you on a treadmill... LOL

By the time I had finished my 30 mins I could see again... so I wandered home and although my head is telling me it could be sore if I thought about it, I am refusing to think about it!

I'm sure this is from lack of coffee which I cut out Tuesday, I have vague memories of this happening for a couple of hours back in May, lots of water and no caffeine equals pretty sparkly lights... trouble is when I am at this stage of the pre-comp diet I have zero memory so I wasn't ready for it to happen again.... LOL

So I have done my final training session - tomorrow is just cardio, I have finished the washing, done the vacuuming (don't want to come home to housework - ick!), all my meals are prepared, my suit case is under a pile of stuff that has to be put in it in the right order but all the stuff is there.... I have written a list and checked it twice....

Hubby is working till 11.30 then we are heading down to the Gold Coast to register and have the team photos taken...

We are coming home again afterwards, we just could not afford to stay down there two nights and I am having my extensions put in tomorrow by Krystal and put into curls so I can just organise them myself Saturday morning, and my nails made beautiful again by the amazing Tash, the girls at DNB Salon on the Island have gone out of their way to help me with Krystal coming in on her day off just to do my hair for me.

Soooooo it is all coming together and I have reached the goal I set for myself way back in January 2008... Wow this is a fabulous feeling!!! I really do hope this shows just one other person that you can't use age as an excuse, if me getting on stage changes just one other life for the better I will be so very happy...

So I'm off to have a sip of water and to google the World Masters competition in Poland this year.... just to check and see if it says where and when next years comp is..... Cause its time for another goal......... heheehehehehehehehe
