FIGURING OUT THE FIFTIES.... SO THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.......

And so it begins

18 weeks to go.... dum de dum dum DUM!!!!!

Legs today - awesome workout, very strict, very hard!

Dropped the few extra carbs out of my diet today, into pre contest eating from now.

Cardio tonight was great, did 35 mins of HIIT and could have kept going for hours... of course once the carb depletion hits, the cardio will be a lot less enjoyable hehehehe.

Had a great ride up the coast yesterday before work and managed to stuff up months of careful tanning (so I had no tan lines)... I now have pinkish "sleeves" between my shoulders and my glove line since I forgot to put sunscreen on my arms - it looks like I have had my hands soaking in bleach - sigh!

Funny I am happy to ride without a leather jacket (yes, I know, I know.. dangerous!) but I can not ride without my gloves. I may get knocked off my bike and if I'm not wearing my gloves I might loose a nail!!!!

But what the ride did remind me of was how totally terrified I was the first time I rode on real streets... I was on a little 250cc Honda and I will admit to hyperventilating into my helmet - which did fog up and cause more hyperventilation... Now I ride a 1300cc Harley, well, as I have been told... "Like I stole it!" yes I ride like a boy LOL!

The reason I suddenly remembered the horror of that first ride... I was thinking about the first time I will step on stage... I now realise that if I can climb onto a half tonne of hot, loud, and unstable metal and fling myself along winding pot holed roads, and sing out loud while doing it.. walking onto that stage in high heels is going to be a ball, and I wont even have to worry about fogging up a helmet! hehehehe

Hubby bought me a white board today so I can organise all the things I must get/do..

I am a list maker and now that I have something to make lists on I am a settled happy camper..

Got to go it's Green tea time...
