rainbows & problems

Your rainbow is strongly shaded violet and black.

What is says about you: You are a creative person. You appreciate mystery. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it. You may meet people who are afraid of you.

Find the colors of your rainbow at

looks like I am SCARY!!! - YAY!!

Be afraid, very afraid... hehehehehehe

On the training front Legs were tired as I have done a walk/run 2 days in a row but the workout was great. More cardio tonight so I will probably fall out of bed tomorrow when I try and stand up.

Got a phone call from the boss at the motel telling me that my part time shifts are going to change and this has put me into a major tail spin!!!! She wants me to start doing morning shifts and that would kill my morning training as the shift runs from 7am to 3.30pm. Since I am normally only getting home from the gym at 7am it is not gong to work and I am in panic mode!!!! Tears have flowed!!!

The really annoying thing is that I left her a big long list of the days I would need to have off when it came close to the competition and now it look like she is going to give me extra shifts right up to that time. I wouldn't normally mind but when ever any of the other ladies have time off I do their shift, and now when I need time off I am expected to do extra shifts to make up for it????

I hate how the general population see figure and bodybuilding as some sort of weird hobby and do not take us seriously as an athlete!!

I am going to stop in and see her tomorrow and hopefully manage to explan why I can not work the early shifts - finger crossed that my rainbow is right and I will be scary enough for her to leave my shifts alone LOL

I hear you Cath, I spent time on the weekend explaining to my BF how much work is involved in bodybuilding ie cardio, weights etc. He can't understand why I need to do weights so regularly (as well as cardio). His idea on losing weight is calories in must be less than calories out, and that exercise should consist of copious amounts of cardio. Simple. I'm looking for a good website or article on why women need to do weights to give to him - he's a scientist so that probably explains things. He is also a middle distance runner and makes me walk up mountains in NZ with a 15kg backpack and calls it a holiday. Ha Ha. He is actually a good bloke, though.
