getting there...

Wow! It has been a crazy, hectic, stressful few days...

I have had a lot of changes going on in my training and diet and it has clashed with my work times/days off etc etc etc and this has caused major stress with time and in my head.

The changes have come about because I have changed my personal trainer...

I will never be able to thank Jo Stewart enough for how for she changed my life in every way, I had a lovely email "chat" with Jo and since this is my first show we both decided that I need a more hands on, close to home approach with my training, posing, diet etc.

Jo is also going through a lot of changes in her life and she is off to defend her title at the Arnold in about 5 weeks time. I wish her all the best and will be hitting the Internet big time while the Arnold is on to see how she is going!!!!

So I have a new trainer - not sharing details yet - and this has meant a whole new diet and training regime, which I am really enjoying.

But as with all changes, it is taking a bit of organising.. and I will happily put my hand up and say "I HAVE TO BE ORGANISED!" so while I am still trying to adjust schedules to fit around the new regime I am a bit of a mess... ohhh ok I am a huge mess...

Tell you my hubby has been absolutely fantastic getting the new supplements etc arriving on our doorstep today so that I have one less worry.. I am so grateful that I have such a supportive hubby, I could not do this without him!!

Oh and speaking of me being a mess... Had a nice talk to my Motel Boss and explained the training, eating, timing thing and YAY no morning shifts till... She was great about it and I didn't have to be scary at all! WHEW!

Anyway, had the skinfold measurements taken on Wednesday and I am now at 14.7% BF and weigh 61.5kg, so I am really pleased with that and they were taken before the new diet and training so I can't weight (get it... wait, weight... sorry!) for the next reading. LOL

Well I guess most of you are having a long weekend... I will be working right through including Monday (still have courtesy buses to clean - sigh!) we have been lucky enough to be given a set of keys to the gym so we can still train even though it will be closed, since the owner knows I am going to compete, how nice was that! So Monday is just Monday for me.

Hope you all enjoy the celebrations!!

Great news about your work accommodating your comp schedule-that's got to be a big relief. My hat is always off to gals who are able to go through comp prep whilst holding down a job too- it's hard enough with out other people's schedules to work around!
and keys to the gym-SWEEEET! Our bloody gym is closed for the holiday..can you believe that?! I'd be super pissed if I was training for a comp right now!
Have a nice weekend anyway!
