cheated from cheating!

Had a great 50 min jog/walk this morning along the waterfront, it was wonderful to be outside as I haven't been doing any cardio on Sundays for the last few weeks and I have missed it!

You just feel cleaner and fresher when you are outside jogging rather than in a gym... it was really lovely, although after a couple of weeks off the path seemed a little longer than before LOL...

I have to admit I am sulking today...

I was told by Kelli that since I was doing so well I was to have a cheat meal this week... YAY!

It was to be a whole cheat MEAL, not just a snack, one that included pasta (she did suggest pizza but I really am not into Pizza anymore) a total meal with dessert and coffee and cake... You know those meals that "the others" eat on regular basis that we don not see for months on end... yeah one of those...

But... All I ended up with was a slice (yes, all right, it was a nice thick slice) of Banana bread with my black coffee.... sigh

This was caused by a bit of a mixture of still working the weekend and - by the time you buy a weeks worth of rice, sweet potato, chicken breasts and kangaroo steak, kangaroo mince, salads and veges for the 2 of us - no spare money for a real dinner out....

But such is life...

Ok so I will admit to some sulking about being cheated out of the cheat meal itself, but the main sulkyness is because I was actually looking forward to not having to prepare one whole meal and then to actually get to eat off real plates using a knife AND a fork, sitting at a table!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who now eats nearly every one of my six meals out of plastic "glad" containers in assorted shapes and sizes. The food is already chopped into bite size pieces so a fork is all that is required, or sometimes just a straw for the shake, and most of the time because of the frequency of these meals they are cold and eaten in the middle of doing something else..... office work, cleaning cars...

Oh well... never mind, maybe next time....

In about 86 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woooohooo getting close now ladies!!!!!

YAY!

oh no! you were robbed! I was looking forward to a cheat meal at a friends place a couple of weeks ago as she cooks divine meals but because she knew I was dieting she made a really healthy, low carb meal that quite frankly left me hungry and wishing I'd brought some bread and butter with me! It was great she was trying to do the right thing but I'd allowed for it and was looking forward to it.

My house is overflowing with glad plastic containers! Fine when the are in the freezer but hate having to wash them all.

yeah I reckon the washing up is as bad as having to constantly eat from them.. mine always fall out all over the floor from the cupboard every time I openthe bloody door! and No I don't have a raw that they will fit in - sigh!

Wait...you don't like PIZZA any more?

O_O

I hate those containers too.... but they're strictly for storage, or for work. I always eat off plates at home, AND at the table.

AND I meant to say (hit enter by mistake. D'oh!) that you're really kicking it!

I'd love to come to the comp and cheer everyone on, but I don't think that's going to happen. Dammit.
