Forgot about the ouch.....

Had such a great day out on the bike yesterday I forgot about the very first 5 minutes... had only just left home and travelling in a line of traffic doing 70kmh (the actual speed limit in the area) and 2 vehicles in front of us was this Toyota ute loaded up to go to the local dump...

Yep you guessed it.... off the back of the ute came this old dried up palm flower... under the car in front of us which ran over it so it bounced up from the car and smacked me in the shin... I had no where to go to get out of it's way.. hurt like shit!!!! I counted my blessings by deciding it could have been a hunk of concrete so I got off lightly. But the rest of the day was so great that it wasn't till I took my jeans off that I discovered the hunk of skin that it took off..

What is it about people not tying things onto their cars/utes?? honestly the crap on the road to the dump is unbelievable, I reckon anyone who does this should be made to stand still while other people throw their rubbish at them at 70kmh and see how they like it. That is apart from the fact that they are spreading crap everywhere... some of them must get to the dump with an empty trailer!!!!!

Monday.... Chest and tri training was great, I am really enjoying the change in the reps etc that I am doing.

My legs were a bit wobbly by the time I finished the cardio this morning as I did a very long posing practice last night. I staggered up and down the stairs at the sucky job today but still went and did 45 mins on the cross trainer tonight which made me all wobbly again LOL never mind... got to practice the posing again tonight so I know that will make them even more tired... wow just can not wait to do my leg work out tomorrow morning... Not! LOL

Well thats it from me.... Off to the hairdresser for a tidy up tomorrow... in between car cleaning... I might get to sit still for an hour... LOL

Ohhhh and I am hard out trying to find a way to study Nutrition - either sports or herbal. This is what I am really interested in now that I have discovered how much what we consume effects us in every way... now just got to work out how to pay for it... LOL

great blog. i personally get really hot under the collar on the bike when i see lit cig butts flying :( people just dont think...

question, are you riding after your workouts? i think im too wobbly so i dont ride after, but maybe im making too much of my concern?!?

YES!!! Ciggy buts drive me nuts!!! I haven't ridden after my workouts mostly cause the gym I go to is a 3 minute walk from home so the bike wouldn't even warm up LOL Have to admit to getting major cramps in both thighs the day after a big leg workout when I was on the highway and having to ride with my legs stuck out trying to relieve the cramp!!! Got a few looks that day LOL
