Night time training

I have discovered that you have to train far harder when you venture into my little local gym at night...

I mean the strength required to be able to part the testosterone curtain that hangs like a thick smog cloud in the free weights room is an extra set in itself alone....

The agility needed to navigate the dropped and discarded weights increases your balance to that of a tight rope walker...

Listening to, and not making a comment on, the way these 18-20 year olds describe their female acquaintances is a lesson in restraint I found worthy of a sabbatical nun.

Watching them toss weights thinking they are actually training made keeping a straight face a test of will power.

Enjoying your new found strength of discretion when you discover that you have the ability to not mock someone with no quads or calves when he says "Cause I train so heavy, if I train chest at the start of the week I can't train anything else for the rest of the week" is a surprise in itself..

Knowing that you have children older than these heavy weight tossing testosterone bar leaner's and hearing one of their mates who is a personal trainer tell them that if they really want to know how to get great abs they should be doing what you and your hubby are doing.... well that just breaks my diet because it was the icing on the cake!!!!

Trained Chest this morning then did my cardio and as you can see I had to go back tonight to fit in the triceps and abs...

A perfect diet day, but then I am finding the food I am having at the moment is keeping me very happy with no cravings, so I am not cheating on it at any time..

Tomorrow is back and biceps day... hopefully it will all fit into the morning session or else I will have to part that testosterone curtain again tomorrow...

muahahahahaha, i love this!! i have been HATING my gym at night, which sucks because i love the stress release of after work workouts. now its all making sense. so, as much as i dislike leaving my bed in the dark morning, it will probably be more enjoyable. thanks witchazel, youve reassured me. look out for those testosterone curtains ;)

Ha ha ha ha ha ha, it's taken me about six months to work out the "safe" times at my gym...they drive me crazy, I know better than to venture anywhere near them during PMS. Unfortunately there is no choice but to walk through the testo curtain if you need to get to the stretching room or water cooler...
