Something stronger than camel fleas....

Ok, so calipers are obviously immune to camel flea curses, yes the fat% went UP!

Since discovering this afternoon that I have actually gained 0.3% bodyfat since last week I have been devising evil curses and painful methods to kill off said calipers... so just wondering, hypothetically speaking of course.... anyone know what the boiling point of caliper steel might be????

So my weight did go up by a humongous 100gms, and I did lose a bit of muscle, but I still have 2kg more muscle than this time out from last comp and I am actually exactly the same fat% as this time out from the last comp...

I will be totally honest and say that my bottom lip definitely quivered when I saw the numbers, and Kelli tweaked my food and my training and that did help me feel a little better by the time we left.

I then shut up really tight.. when I get really upset I don't yell, I shut up.. so the drive back from Kells place was extremely quite, well once Hubby had given up trying to make me realise that I shouldn't be worried, which was when I pointed out (through very gritted teeth) how much he would enjoy gaining some fat...

By the time we got back to the island I had sorted myself out and realised that I had two very clear choices.

The first choice is to give up, decide it is extremely hard, realise that at almost 50 I am pushing a slightly disabled horse on rollerskates up hill in a hail storm, relax, become an average joe-ette.. Geeee even get a semi average life which would include eating food that is readily available without esky's, snap lock plastic bags, glad plastic containers and an hours worth of preparation every night...

OR

I could suck it up Princess, get the groceries I needed for my slightly tweaked food intake, get home and prepare tomorrow meals, get the gym gear organised so I could be ready to fit in the morning cardio I was now going to be doing, so I would have to get to the gym at 5am not 530am so I can still finish in time to go and work 8 hours then come home and do some more training at the gym......

It was a tough choice.... NOT! Bring on the average food???? ICK No!!!!!!

I made a point of finding the good things about this change... No afternoon cardio, the change in food means I can now eat my afternoon meal while still at work which then means I can train the 2nd body part in the afternoon before the 7pm meal instead of the cardio.

It has given me more drive not less, I am at the same point as last time and I reached 7% bodyfat for those comps. This time I have 2kg more muscle!!!! And since Kelli also tweaked my training it all starts a fresh tomorrow!

So the rollerskating horse had better find someone else to push its overweight arse up that slippery slope cause now I'm off to Google oil boiling points or maybe an ebay store that sells the crap of a thousand bats..... hypothetically of course....

You go Girl!!!
You totally crack me up - but on a serious note, if you could bottle your determination and willpower, you'd make millions.(maybe you could work on a potion after the Comp?)
All the very best to you.

Good on you, I know that 'sucky' feeling. Keep going you've come this far!
