Boring blog

Trained chest this morning, did 30 mins of cardio straight afterwards.....

ummmmmm ok......

so I really need to ask this next question... ummmm but could all the boys please stop reading now and go away.... ok, so now all the boys think it is about sex...

ummmm no it's about old lady stuff so boys bugger off....

So am I the only one who has a touch of a problem with the reduction of water levels within the body when it comes to things like jogging, star jumps or burpees???????

Its driving me nuts!!!!

I am fit and aerobic enough to jog on incline level 2 at 11 (no idea if that is a measurement of kmph or mph or frogs per hour) for 30 minutes and silently sing along to my ipod, get sweaty and love the feeling of being able to do it....

But, after 3 minutes I have more than sweat to worry about.... yes I know there are absorbent products which are available for this... Ohhh I know all about every type... I have used every type...

But come on ladies, have you worn these things!!! Its like jogging with a blow up double bed between your legs...

Yes I know all about pelvic floor exercises... for all that is holy I am 50 soon, of course I know about pelvic floor exercises... sorry but they ain't working... and over the last 30 years I have probably done approximayely 30,000 clenches in that area so I figure that would make me a pelvic floor expert... of course drinking around 5 litres of water a day isn't helping the cause either but I will keep drinking that amount of water a day so I need a solution...

Thought of going to the Doc but come on we all know how he will view me at my age drinking 5 litres of water and jogging to get down to a body fat of 7% so I will not waste my $60.00...

Soooooo if there is anyone else out there brave enough to talk about this please let me now how you have solved the problem....

Or maybe I could think laterally and go to Tena Lady for sponsorship....

Cath, is there a Continence Nurse Advisor in your area? They are either at health centres or hospitals. They are usually free and not anything like the doctor. Continence is their whole job, there are other things around to assist, so they may be a good start. Erika

My pelvic floor is crap. I'm too lazy to do the exercises so I bought this http://www.athenaft.com/

If you google there is an Australian distributer somewhere. You are supposed to use it 15 mins morning and night and within 3 months your pelvic floors are supposed to be back to normal (and then you use it at a 'maintenance' level after that).

I haven't used it yet...cos as i said I'm lazy :oS Keep meaning to...ask me in 3 months!
