Easy Pleased....

So I told Hubby that after all the time constraints I have put on us for the last 16 weeks we would go and do what ever he wanted...

I suggested 3 hour rides up into the hills, 2 hour rides out to the back of beyond, 4 hour rides up the coast to see places we never get to see......

He wanted to go and lie on the beach at Mooloolaba so that's where we rode to, a whole 45 minutes of bliss LOL!!!

We did NOT pack any food, we did NOT pack any water we took one back pack and came home with two, cause I found a great little denim one for $10!!!

We bought our water and all our food.... turkey, salad on Turkish bread... chicken wrap, roast vege wrap, lots of coffee, banana bread, and a biscuit... yes folks a biscuit... LOL

We laid on the beach, we swam.. actually it was more like bobbed and dove as the waves were rough but the water was warm and fabulous... we lay in the sun some more and watch the world of teenagers and singles jostle for position... wow I thought I was a Poser.. we had a giggle at the males cause they left me for dead LOL

I was a bit disappointed in the beach bods... but then when you think about what I was perving at last weekend the beach bods didn't stand a chance, and got to say I may be biased but I reckon Hubby bet most of the younger things hands down!!

How come the parents out there don't tell their daughters to stand up straight and put their shoulders back??? My mother always said... you are tall, be proud of it, put your shoulders back and pull yourself up!!! If the young women out there did that they would look so wonderful, rather than hunched and hiding cause they are soooo worried about how they might look to anyone else.. shame really...

Had a great ride back... not long enough for me but it was Hubbies day, and he loved it...

Now it's a lazy night with what ever DVD he brings back... Sooo this is what normal people do on weekends, oh except we trained chest this morning... did abs and cardio last night.... ok, so almost normal people...

Hope your ride was a bit longer than mine MQ01... but that your day was as great!

Sounds like a fantastic day, Cathy. My eldest girl is 14 years old and 5'7"...so is a little bit taller than most of her friends and always has been. She is terrified at the thought that she may continue to grow for the next couple of years...like your Mum, I always tell her to stand tall and be proud. I guess I can only keep nagging, it might sink in.

Yes, what is wrong with kids these days...don't they realise they look like little old ladies all hunched like that...and it'll be worse when they are our age!
Being a shorty-I've always stood as tall as possible so I don't look like such a damn shorty...LOL!
Cheers hon! Glad you are riding high again! ;-)
