FIGURING OUT THE FIFTIES.... SO THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.......

Wow!

Ok, so by 6pm last night I was almost crawling around on all fours as my legs and groin were so sore from the massage and the release of toxins...

WOW!! I am finding this so enlightening and astounding and amazing and just plain WOW! Yesterday I puffed up like a blow fish on steroids and then seemed to release all the nasties in the obvious way (sorry for that mental picture) at about 8pm and just plain ached and went to bed...

This morning... NO PAIN... Well at least until Hubby helped with the Hammy stretches as I was shown to do and then my usual Hammie stretch pain came back but nothing else...

I still have bruised pressure points but I am certainly feeling much better. Justin has also been loading me up on Magnesium to stop my continual muscle cramps (which I have suffered from for years) and they have stopped. Last night would be the first time in years where I haven't woken with my foot cramped up... another YAY!

So although I am still puffy and bloated and look pretty yuk in my eyes I feel so much better already, and I will just have to live with the puffiness until my muscles and back are free and long and stretched and that's ok because I may not look like I want for now but I know I will look soooo much better soon...

This is the head space I used when I was first starting out with the weight loss and training... just be patient and do what you have to do every day... things will get better if you are consistent and believe.

Trained Biceps and Triceps today and instead of cardio finished with the stretches which was enough work for me... tonight I will add some cardio if my legs are ok with it...

I love your attitude, Cathy, to whatever life throws at you...you just do what needs to be done and find the positive in it...wish there were more people like you out ther (or to be more specific in my family...)
Anyway, I predict that you may well become addicted to massage some time soon.

Hi Cath, keep persisting with it all. I too was a non-stretcher for ages. Just got back into it about 6mths ago. It is worth it. And massages......mmmmmmmm......I love them. I generally get one for a mother's day present each year.......how many more months till May? LOL!!
