Setting the scene....

Warmth, Sunshine, blue sky, fluffy little clouds in the shape of bunnies and kittens, butterflies flutter by, flowers sing happy little flower smiley songs in a meadow of long green and golden grass waving gently in the warm breeze (oh and the grass is snake free for all you snake phobics out there..) You prance in slow motion in a long flowing gown (unless you are a guy then skip the gown, oh hang on put pants on, now you can skip the gown).....

Life is great, life is good, you are 8 weeks from your first competition of the year and everything is running just slightly ahead of target, you are gently hungry but not starving Eat-the-face-off-a-moose hungry - yet. You are tired but not Fall-alseep-standing-up exhausted by the cardio - yet. Your food still has flavour, your carbs do not taste like cardboard - yet...
The plans you have set are warm fuzzy plans with everything having a place and the places are set with wine goblets and silver spoons..... Stage suit picked, blinged, ready even... ahhhhh what a great year this will be, you close your eyes, relax and....

Find yourself falling off the cliff at the end of the stupid meadow where the bloody unmown probably snake infested grass was too long for you to see the damn edge coming up....

No more early entry to the gym, as of Monday its 6am start with all the other gym members and doing battle with the over 60 crowd to get on the one and only cross trainer before someone who moves at 25 beats a minute on level one gets it or the treadmill that still reads the calories correctly and does incline at the same time....

No more 5am training, now it will have to be 5pm training and trying to get the ball scratching boys to move their itchy arses of the dumbbells and take their feet of the bench so it can be used by someone who isn't busy describing how some girl who probably thinks they actually care about them gave them head on the weekend...

Sodding long grass and dumbarse butterflies, should have known they were just decoys for a big drop...
Measurement day tomorrow.... Geeeee really looking forward to that as well....

Damn, that is a blow to the system Cath. Flex your muscles, and I am sure those big dudes will make way for you. And take hubby for back-up! Have fun with Miss Kelli tomorrow!

Arghhhh Cathy!! that sucks big time! sorry to hear that your gym times have changed :o( maybe u need to get a bike or cross trainer at home so u can get up early and do your cardio then go do ur weights later?

So r u doing the sunny coast comp?

thanx ladies, Well Tara I was going to do the Sunny Coast comp but honestly with the change of gym hours, the times I work and the way my whole diet will have to change to allow for night time training I don't know whats going to happen.... Today I feel like walking away, getting real tired of fighting for every little thing every day.. wow bad head space better go...
MQ Tequila bottle is now officially empty and a new one is half gone...

Oh cathy that really sucks. I'm sure kelli will be able to work out a new plan of attack for you. Change sucks but it may be a blessing in disguise!? Head up girl =)

Being a creature of habit myself, I can understand how frustrating that must be for you! Gave me a bit of a laugh the way you described it though!
