Beige People are gross...

So Thursday arrived and with it came a nice juicy cold... insert humongous sigh here..... Finally when I think I can get back into my life I am caught by a cold and can not breath... I spent the day being sprayed with Glen20 disinfectant by the girls at work lol
Since I totally refuse to go near the gym when I am sick as I loathe people who insist on snotting on machines while they cough and splutter their way through a half arsed sick workout, it wasn't until this morning that I finally got another workout in... Only did Chest and not at our regular gym but at least I was back with my beloved iron and it made me lose the last tiny bit of "maybe I still have a cold" feeling that I still had...

On Friday I managed to get out on the Bitch Broom and go through to Redcliffe to the Festival of Sails. It was fabulous to be back on the Broom even though it was only a short ride... By chance we caught up with Manda, Neil and the kids in the huge crowd and spent a little time wandering with them.. Since I was still feeling pretty disgusting even though I was loaded up on Cold & Flu tabs we didn't stay too long but it was soooooo fabulous to be on the bike again... Bliss
I went and delivered the Easter Eggs to the kids yesterday morning and once again since I was still feeling yuk and would hate them to get it I didn't hang around. Hubby had to work in the morning then we basically mucked around on the island while I swallowed medication like a drug addict...
Finally today dawned snot free and after training I was back on the Broom and we headed into Brisbane....

You know we are all guilty of judging people on their appearance, all of us, instant judgements... Put a tattoo on your arm, slide into some jeans, drop on a helmet, hop on a Harley and watch the reactions... But really some people have no right to judge anyone...

First stop was the Highway servo, oh and yes Hubby did use a false name - Freddy - and while waiting for the coffee his real name "Andrew" was called and he suddenly though that maybe he had said his real name and then the other Andrew stepped forward LOL, ohhh and on Friday he said Andrew but the girl called him Ethan LOL....
Anyway while the great coffee game was going on I scored a table by the window and waited..

There I am, black singlet laced up the back with red ribbon, red jeans, red hair, tattoos visible... across from me are the Beige family... Father blond, wearing a white shirt, beige shorts, totally untanned never seen the sun white, as is the rest of the family which consists on Blond mother in beige top and beige shorts and two sons approximate ages 12 & 14 both dressed in... Beige!!! yes I do not joke... they were all wishy washy white and beige looking incredibly "normal, average, good, honest, clean, niiiccccceeee...

Well Beige Dad was either imagining obscene things he would or could do with me or just plain glaring at me with disgust... you know some times its just so hard to tell... Mother was the same the look of pure disgust on her face was obvious and directed at me...

So I ignored them and carried on waiting for Freddy and the coffees, watched the world go by past the windows and through the forecourt and caught the constant glare of their disapproval in the reflection of the glass, even when I turned towards them they would look away but then come straight back to look "down" at me... Hey you ride the bikes you get used to the judgement, doesn't worry me cause I know who I am more than they ever will...

But then the beige family left.. and behind them on the table was the most disgusting pile of left over foods and cups, napkins and plastic I have ever seen!!! Honestly if those kids had been 3 years old I would have been annoyed, but at their age it was just unbelievable the mess of crushed food and drinks, and the Beige parents just stood and walked away and left it... and they gave me a parting "down their nose" look... Really????? I mean really???? They were disgusting... and they judged me???? pffft!!!!

So if the statement can be made that all Bike Riders are mean nasty criminals then I am making the statement that people who wear Beige are pigs! Dirty, messy untrained pigs....

Had a great ride after that into Brisbane through to Southbank and Westend, manged a great screaming tyre smoking arse swerving sliding stop at one set of traffic lights that surprised me with an unexpected change and almost ended up with Hubbies bike sitting on top of mine. Makes the adrenaline pump and I always laugh at the look of pride on Hubbies face when I don't lay the bike down... never have, don't ever plan to!!! In fact I never seem to worry about the slides when they come, I just sit my arse down on the Broom and hang on ... She has always held onto me and that's one of the reasons I love her so much, we fit, we fit good....

So today on the way home when I saw a beautiful red 1999 HD Heritage Softail wave at me I did stop to check it out, I did look at the price and think... hmmmmm... He was big and bold and beautiful with saddlebags for stuff and a big wide arse seat for long rides, he was strong and bold and I could see the horizon in his chrome, he would wrap himself around me and the wind wouldn't toss me and I could make him rumble deep and loud with the right pipes on.......

Then I looked left , back to the Broom sitting sassy and low and looking like she was already moving while she is sitting still, with her grey wrapped pipes and rough round the edges half a hooker look, and hell I could never give her up... cause really she is just way too much like me lol

Another day off tomorrow for both of us and we may just ride north this time.... the wind has picked up and there may be rain up that way... but that Broom is Bliss, half a hooker, loud and low, bliss....

ummm, where to start?!? lol!!! honestly, as much as the beige people piss me off, i feel bad/sorry for them. they have no idea how judgmental and sad they really are. im happy that we're not beige, we have never been beige, and we'll never be beige.

im glad the screeching stop turned out ok!! bitch broom talks to you. she fits, completely. but ahhh the heritage, i know this feeling well. i'll tell ya, my regret is giving up my ms bitch. she was perfect, and she was all me. if i could do it over i would have two bikes. im happy that you already know not to give up bitch broom, not unless you're completely ready.

maybe bitch broom has red or white throwover bags in her future ;) ooooh white leather bags, like go-go boots!!! or silver, like some HOT stilettos...hmmm...

sorry i digressed, lol. happy easter!!! its raining here, ride for us witchazel. xoxoxo!!

One question .... biege people or are they vanilla? Vanilla in every way ... looks, clothing, attitude, actions and appeal. BTW, not all the untanned is uncouth and uneducated. Some of us, just don't go brown, nor green with envy. LOL
