The big 14.....

Days to go...

Last week was a messy, depressing, very interesting and in the end exhausting week..

What with the neck thing and having an amazing massage from Lina Richards... I loved it so much and can't wait to have another one just as a whole body cleanse and work over...

Then having acupuncture for the first time ever.. and now totally hooked on that as well, I will recommend it in a heart beat for anything that ails you.. I have even said to Hubby how I would love to go and have a general "going over" using acupuncture once the comp has been and gone...

The been treated to a great conversation with Perry Venakis, he is an amazing person so helpful and knowledgeable, can't wait to get a chance to meet him or attend one of his seminars one day soon. I have already been implementing the exercise he recommend for my lower back and have been amazed at the difference I have discovered between the action and strength of one side of my body compared to the other side...

I had a flat, down and depressed couple of days on Thursday and Friday but I ended the week with full on training again and although it was unstructured I did end up working my whole body by the end of the week and having all my cardio up to date... AT this stage "flat" and "down" can sneak up on you easily so it is just another part of the pre-comp game... mine came on because I couldn't help Manda and Neil move house due to all the stuff we have to fit into our weekends, made me feel like a shit Mum and Nana but I am going to do my best to spend far more time with them once the comp is done and dusted......

Due to Amanda moving house we are now Budgie sitting again until the real estate agent can check out why they told her she could have budgies and then changed their mind on the day of the move.... This caused Tank to whine with pleasure at having his pets back, we have put up a hook for the cage and he sits or stands and watches them through the kitchen window like a kid would... I can't move them without him being there nose pressed as close to the cage as possible...

We have also inherited my cross trainer back until they are organised so that has given me a chance to add in some cardio when I would normally not have the chance to do it... like the 30 minutes I got through this afternoon :o))

It was Miss Lily's 3rd birthday on Friday and with the family moving house and me in depletion, half asleep and exhausted mode, I got to basically see her for 10 minutes and then head back home for the next round of cooking, posing, and checking of the competition suitcase to see what last minute supplies I may need to get... Pretty lucky with this one as it amounts to an appropriate coloured lipstick and mascara which I had to get for normal everyday life anyway...

I love that the final two weeks have finally arrived!! Hubby has finished his blinging of "The Grey Number" and I will post photos closer to the comp... Tried it one today and added a bit of extra Boob padding.. as always... sigh... and was pleasantly surprised with how I am "coming along" with two weeks to go... My hair extensions go in this coming Saturday... actually I get them done on my Dads 85th Birthday... so another birthday celebration this week... wow four in two weeks is a tough call.. I guess I will also owe him a birthday celebration after the comp... lol

So another week starts.... not long to go now... and then I hope to have the time to sit back and assess my whole situation... life, lifestyle, choices, family, and the world as I know it.... deep and meaningful shit... yeah I always get like this in the last two weeks...its all that navel gazing... oh and yes the navel has finally picked up on the way I am looking at it and it seems to have go the message!!! yay!

Off to prepare dinner then to count the minutes until egg whites and then the jelly... sigh...

Two weeks to go for my favourite Jelly Slut :) Hope it all goes really well. I really like Perry V, I've met him a few times now and he's a really decent chap.

Cheers
Liz;)
