On your bike Botch!

I have had a FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!!!!

Spent the majority of it on my bike... sigh... love that bike... she fits me like a favorite pair of jeans but better... I mean if they could make jeans that have over 1200CC of thrust we would always be smiling eh girls LOL!

Yesterday we had to work in the morning but then had lunch and took off to the Ettamogah Pub for a drink (black coffee for me) and to watch the other bikes come and go.

It is a gathering place for bike riders and although Sunday is a better day to catch up with just about every bike rider on the Sunshine Coast, there were a few bikes there yesterday arvo.. What makes it soooo great is that the bike parking spaces are right at the front of the pub so you can just sit out the front enjoy a beer (or coffee) and have a perfect view of the bikes... Its only about a half hour ride from home for us but we took the back roads yesterday and just cruised - awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we headed in the opposite direction and went into Southbank in Brisbane City and took lunch with us, wandered around the markets, and had a coffee and once again watched the world go past... Another great day out on the bike.... and I was totally in control of the meals and only almost cried when they bought out my green tea and it had a free ginger biscuit with it and I had to give it to Hubby! Then he got one with his coffee.. then h got a piece of Banana bread!!!! I did really have tears in my eyes.. how pathetic is that... still there is no way I am caving in this close to the comp!

We are pretty spoilt here as the weather has just hit that point where it is a little cool in the morning and the evening (around 14 degrees) but absolutely perfect in the middle of the day (around 28) for riding without the heavy leathers that will be needed in another few months... Got to admit I am not a good girl and ride without my jacket most of the time if the weather lets me, I will always wear my gloves though so I end up with white hands and brown arms LOL

One of the things I really love about going out on the bikes is the random people you end up talking to. Today I had this long chat to some random guy who came over to admire the bike and ask questions about the modifications done to her. Then when we stopped at a petrol station on the way home we had chat to another random guy about his Harley.... It happens every time we go out on the bikes and we have ended up talking to people from just about every walk of life, I love this!!! And for the record... some of the nicest chats have been with the big bad 1%'s!!

Well I have to head to the gym now.. big surprise.. not! Practicing the routine and more posing tonight... oh and just for a change... some cardio!!! LOL
