I had a bad day today, one of those tears and tantrums day that comes around whether we are competing or not...Hubby packed me up and took me to the beach to scavenge, one of those things we haven't had time to do while I have been preparing for the comps, and then posed me on lots of bits of driftwood amongst the wind and the waves. It was bloody freezing and fresh and wonderful! It was a great break and we even found a couple of small buoys washed up for our collection of sea stuff around the house...
I then came back and went onto the computer and couldn't get it to do what I wanted it to do and I was right back into tears and tantrums... sigh!
So once again Hubby packed me up and this time took me to the local mall for a coffee and a wander around a few shops... we are too broke from the competition costs to actually buy anything but the wandering certainly helped take my mind off myself...
Then we went to the gym and did cardio and that perked me up, I worked a real sweat and came back and cooked all of tomorrows meals and now I feel a bit better....
What would I do without my stage mum Hubby!
At the end of the day I am still a 49 year old woman and some days that just sucks.... LOL

lol!! i must say though, your hubby is the best. and at the end of the day, just remember, we are doing things in our 40's and 50's that we never imagined in our 20's and 30's. life is good my friend. sounds like riding time might be in order.. ;)
