FIGURING OUT THE FIFTIES.... SO THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.......

Bit of this, bit of the other...

Quick update...

Friday... Abs & Cardio to give my back a rest.. work.. sleep...
Saturday... fasting blood test... housework.. quick beach hit for about an hour between clouds and threatening rain..

Saturday night watched the All Blacks beat the Wallabies... Actually that's a lie, I was typing out our next workout programme while Hubby made... ohhh..arhhhh...whhattt??? Farking ref!!! noises.. I made sure I saw the Haka... hell those boys are hot even when they aren't doing the Haka but when they are doing the Haka... sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday we hoped for a bike ride but rain stopped that so we headed to China Town in the old work car, browsed through the markets looking for Magic Noodles but no.... so bought some killer sandalwood incense instead... laughed at the large bags of dried mushrooms sitting on shelves in a shop that would have been close to 30 degree in heat with the only words in English being "KEEP REFRIGERATED" LOL

Went on to South Bank for more markets and wandering, lots and lots of double shot skinny flat whites, lots! lots of good clean not home made food, lots of banana bread... well 2 slices shared actually but to me that's lots... dawdled back home after a great day out...

We loved the whole metropolitan scene, we could sooooooo live somewhere like that...

We just sooooo love it but fitting two Dobbies into an apartment ain't a happening thing... Although I am sure Tank would do the whole metrosexual dog thing..

Monkey Dog Morgan would just get tied up in knots with her lead doing circles round the coffee tables.. endlessly.. that dog seriously needs some seriously strong calming drugs... she is a fruit loop.. which I am sure is why the Gods sent her to us.. no-one else would have her... not after 2 years..... Honestly as I sit here typing she is running, yes running, loops behind me in a small hallway because Hubby has taken Tank for a walk.... she has already had her walk... can't stop her, I've tried... nothing works... maybe a shot of Valium would.. maybe just a shot... sorry but we have tiled floors and the toenails tapping is just nerve jarring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok sorry...deep breath moving on.....

Started the new training program today, well it's not new it is my favourite Jo Stewart program with lots of super sets and 10x10 one week then the same exercises hard and heavy the next week... LOVE IT!!!

Started with shoulders today and since we weren't sure how long it would take we even had time for a bit of abs at the end.. my shoulders are still aching tonight.. LOVE IT!!! Probably won't be able to even shrug tomorrow LOL That woman is a genius! Did I tell you there are now two other women at my little gym now doing Jo's training and diet after seeing my transformation. Isn't that too cool! Two other women whose lives are better, that's all I want!!!

Got something finally happening in the direction I want to go... finally! Will let you know once it is all signed sealed and delivered...

Tomorrow is Back day and starts with Chins with every set using a different hand hold, they hurt and that is just the first exercise... yay can not wait... going to risk it even though my CT scan is booked for Wednesday, figure that if I make it worse they will pick up on it easier in the scan.. bad I know but honestly it is not even hurting now... sigh!

Tomorrow is also Melbourne Cup day and working at an RSL is going to make it a pretty busy day even though I am locked upstairs away from the noise and crowds... I was told we could get dressed up in our favourite dresses if we wanted... When I mentioned that all my dressy dresses where mini's I was told that it was ok for me to wear my uniform... no minis allowed on staff... so it will be saggy baggy on cup day.. don't really care, figure my legs would distract the punters from spending their money anyway lol

Good luck to all you gamblers out there... I reckon a brown horse will win and really that's about as close to a bet on the Cup as I will get...
