Yep its Bright..... Perfect!

So if you look to the top of the blog you will see the change...
This is me!
This is how I feel..
Bright red In your face
Take That Fuckers!

As most of you will know from Facebook I had a really crappy day yesterday with the discovery that some twisted fucker had stuck pins in my face and crotch in the competition photo of me that was on the gym noticeboard.

This was not the first time it had happened, although the first time it was only one pin in each place, but, even though I had wanted the photo removed then, I was convinced by Hubby that it was probably just some dumb kid and left them up. The comment of the gym owner to Hubby when the first episode happen was that he considered it was a jealous woman... noice, just noice, to think that some grown woman could be so nasty, I went with the child theory and I let it rest and worked hard to ignore the hurt.

Friday morning there were four pins in my face and six in my crotch.... WTF is with that? I did not actually like the fact that my photos were there in the first place, I don't go for they whole song and dance thing for attention, but Hubby put them up as he is proud of what I have achieved (oh and of course I had the blingy bikini on lol) and I left them up as I was constantly told by the instructors that the photos inspired other older woman to see what could be achieved with hard work and a touch of insanity hehehe..

But honestly, the pins totally freaked me out... who would do that? Maybe it freaked me because of my spiritual beliefs, the thought that someone willingly put pins in a photo of me... makes my skin crawl...

It also really sickened me because at the end of the day the gym is pretty much tops on my list of favourite places to be and now... well now it is a touch, well, creepy... there is someone else in the gym who stuck pins in my photo... is it that bloke there???? That woman on the leg press??? see its just creepy...

I did not want to go back in... I had even considered cruising the internet for home gym set ups, then after being summoned via facebook by the gym owner to phone him (which I found an interesting concept in itself), had a discussion regarding the photos and after him pointing out that he was sympathetic but he could not possibly "guard" my photos I decided I would not put them back up...

They were not there to celebrate me and my achievements, they were there to help others, if they encouraged just one 40 something lady to reach for a goal that's all I wanted... I am disappointed that I can no longer do that but, really, just Creepy!!!!!

This morning I was at the gym and trained chest as normal, still a little creeped out but the Saturday morning crowd is pretty much old folks and yoga people so I didn't look over my shoulder too many times...

Then I realised that Fuck Them and the horse they rode in on... This is my territory and if they are so twisted with their own self image that they have to do something as creepy as that to mine they do not deserve my recognition... The photos will not go back, but not because of the pin sticking fuckhead, but because they are now totally out of date because I am a Redhead again!!!

Then after having the above photo taken I realised that you have never been able to see the large tribal tattoo I have on my left arm so I am already planned the next tattoo for my right arm...

The sun is out and I am on the Bitch Broom tomorrow to go and watch my cousin ride in the Mooloolaba Triathlon - his first! YAY!

Ohhh and as for the rest of my training and dieting and fitness... A quick update.. since I stopped pre-contest dieting I have gained a total of 400gms, my training has not altered at all except that all my weights have gone up, I still do cardio every morning for 20 minutes, because I enjoy it not because I have to, and I still do 40 mins a couple of nights of the week as well...

Not as cut as I was, but just as fit, still wearing the size 8 shorts, still eating mostly clean.... even when the pin thing totally made me want to run for the lolly jar I didn't, just ate diet jelly and a banana and one very large glass of wine... not at the same time of course, that would be a waste of the banana... LOL

Gawd, why do people in this world have to be so damn childish and put others down to feel moment of superiority. Makes me angry! What they did to your pics is a disgrace and so cowardly. Good on you for staying strong and rising above it. The gym at the end of the day is "solace" and no-one has the right to take that away or make us feel inferior. If anything, moments like these make us bounce back stronger. Love the hair too btw, seriously awesome and still wearing size 8 shorts is amazing! Well done to ya :)

I am blown away that somebody went out of there way to do such a disrespectful, hateful thing to your photos, their behaviour is nothing short of disgusting!! It would have creeped me out a bit too....but good on you for shoving it to them & walking back in there with your head held high:-)

bugger about the pin thing...that is so bizarre for sure. Such a shame that people can't see you as the inspiration that you are. What is wrong with people?!
