No Time.....

The reason there has been no blogging is that this week seems to have disappeared in a puff of dust... The loss of half an hour training time in the morning has impacted on the rest of everyday...

That half hour really makes a huge difference and even though I am now in my "Off Season" I do still do cardio, and to fit any sort of cardio in I have had to change my training and use up time at night... It also takes away my morning computer time as I now have to rush home, inhale breakfast and shower before dashing off to work...

So the time that I had to blog in the morning or at night is now gone or greatly diminished...

Not that I have had much to blog about anyway...

Training is now a two day split made up of supersets and tri-sets, it is very circuity (ohhh looky a new word - circuitie, or cirkuty, or maybe even sirkutty) anyway, lots of heavy weights, low reps all supersetted together is making the DOMS arrive big time and even Hubby is getting new DOMS in his biceps so he is all smiley and happy with the new programme..

Food is just being eaten... my meals are very similar to my On Season diet with the added yummies like avocado, cottage cheese, grated raw beetroot, grated carrots... and... of course... BANANAS! Well one whole banana a day with half at breakfast and the other half at afternoon tea. I have actually cut back on the size of my portions in most meals and so although I am no longer sleak and lean I am also not rebounding in leaps and bounds as I have done when I have been Off Season previously....

I also have gone back to taking Arginine and Beta-Alanine and would love to know if anyone else gets big time weight gains when on these, it seems to be just water as it arrive two days after I go on them and disappears within two days of me going off them again, but I have tried to find water retention info regarding these two and there doesn't seem to be anything about it anywhere...

Yes there have been weekend treats, and even Nachos after the IFBB last Sunday, but the rest of the week has been very clean and I even turned down chocolate the other day as I really truly just did not want it even though I could have it... Today... I did want it and had a few broken bits of Easter Bunny but after a couple of chunks I was over it... Seems like I have finally beaten my "Must Eat It ALLLLLLL!!!!" Problem and I can now walk away from a half eaten Easter Bunny without hearing it call my name for hours on end...

I think the reason I have not had the cravings that usually haunt me is that I now have diet jelly, Half a banana and protein powder all set together for afternoon tea, I usually nibble on a little of it after lunch then finish it off for afternoon tea. It is sweet and seems to take all the afternoon munchies away. It has the same calories etc as a protein and banana shake but being solid it feels like a real meal...

It is my daughter Amandas Birthday today, she turns 28 today - GASP! I am sure last time I looked she was 12!!! I mean if she is 28.... shit how old am I!!!! LOL Its funny cause my Mum tells me that even though her body is 84 she still thinks of herself as 18 and gets really frustrated that her body can not do what her mind wants to.... I totally understand that concept... I find it really hard to think like a 50 year old... I find it hard to behave like people believe someone my age should... I have trouble shopping as I don't like the clothes for my "age" but I am starting to think that I should no longer be wearing mini skirts cause Hell I am a Nana... Ok I have fantastic legs but still I AM a Nana...

I have lost my watch this week, I remember taking it off and putting it on the kitchen table and then..... blank.... no watch... THIS makes me feel old...

THIS also makes me think that Morgan has eaten my watch... why??? Well if this was my case to prove in court I would use these reasons...
1. Its Morgan for shit sake, she is a fruit loop and it would not even surprise me if I looked out the window and she was outside flapping her ears and flying around the backyard...
2. Just after she arrived to live with us she took Hubbies brand new mobile phone off the dressing table and ate it, it was two weeks old and we have only just finished paying that one and its replacement off...
3. She ate her sofa the other day... well most of it... I came home to a small snowstorm of foam and filler... She has slept on that sofa everyday for ages... but on Wednesday she ate it, just cause she could...
4. Just last week Hubbies sunglasses pouch "Fell" off the same table my watch was put down on and managed to "Fall" three feet across the room.... by itself... when Morgan was near it...
5. Tank will never stand on his hind legs "dog like" to reach something he is not allowed, that would just be way to doggy for him (imagine a doggy shudder and look of disdain on his face please)... well not unless there are Budgies to look at... to reach where the watch was, hind leg standing would be required, Morgan can do this without thinking...
6. Morgan does everything without thinking, including... well.... everything...
And finally...
Morgan is a Dobermann... they are WATCH dogs.... sorry but how could I not use that one!
I believe I will discover my really nice, big, mildly expensive watch outside one day, probably in the huge hole she has dug amongst the banana palms....
No she is not bored... she goes for a walk every day with Hubby... he walks down the road and she does laps around him continuously... never stops... round and round him... it drives me insane just watching... sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I am sure the Gods sent her to us because they knew anyone else would give up on her and she would be sent to them and they don't want her cause they already knew how insanely annoying a dog who constantly does circles to the right can be and so we got her.... Until her time runs out...

And who knows when that will be now because I have NO WATCH!

Hey Cath,
How you dress reflects how you feel and how much you care about yourself...DO NOT dress "for your age" if that means frumpy and baggy. For goodness' sake, show off those legs forever!
Have a great weekend!
